Who we are?

Our journey started in 2015 with one simple obligation i.e., "We Must".

The Skills Improvement Foundation (SIF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to economic empowerment, skills development, and poverty alleviation across Pakistan. We believe that sustainable change begins when individuals are equipped to transform their own lives. We invest in long-term capacity building that fosters dignity, independence, and social change.

Why We Exist?

Pakistan’s youth bulge is a challenge—and an opportunity. Millions of educated youth remain unemployed or under-skilled. Women, especially in rural areas, remain economically excluded.

  • 64% of Pakistan’s population is youth—many lack skills and job access
  • Women face exclusion from financial independence and business networks
  • SIF bridges these gaps with programs that drive self-reliance and economic inclusion
